Startup cohort · Free practice rescue

Your insurance payments, posted while you treat patients.

Sai signs in to your payer portals, reads every EOB, posts the payments in your practice software and matches them to your bank deposits. Behind on posting? We'll catch you up first, free.

Who we are

A family practice that got tired of chasing EOBs.

Our family runs a dental practice in Glendora, California. A few years ago we were short on staff, PPO payments kept shrinking, and insurance statements piled up faster than anyone could post them.

So we fixed it ourselves. We set a routine for every claim, EOB and deposit, and stuck to it. Within a year our insurance AR was down about 90%.

Along the way we noticed something: every office deals with the same insurers, the same portals and nearly the same contracts. The work is repeatable. It just never gets done when the dentist is chairside and the billing coordinator just quit. That's why we built Amalgamate.

The startup cohort · Practice rescue

Buried in EOBs? We'll dig you out.

We've been there. If your office is months behind on posting, we'll come in, clear the backlog and set Sai up to keep you current. It's free while we're in the cohort.

Sound familiar?

  • EOBs piling up faster than your team can post them
  • Weeks or months of payments missing from patient ledgers
  • Bank deposits nobody can match to a claim
  • A billing coordinator who left, and nobody caught up

Questions

The short answers.

Comparing tools? See our guide to AI agents for dental offices.

What is Sai for Dentists?

An AI agent, built by Amalgamate Technologies with Simular, that works a computer in your office the way a billing coordinator would. It retrieves EOBs from payer portals, posts insurance payments in your practice software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental or anything on screen) and reconciles them against your bank deposits.

How is it priced?

Free during the startup cohort, including the backlog catch-up. After that, a fixed price. Never a percentage of collections or a per-claim fee.

How do you avoid posting mistakes?

Each EOB line is checked against your contracted fee schedule and the payer’s rules before it is posted. Underpayments and downgrades are flagged, and anything uncertain goes to a dental billing specialist instead of being posted on a guess.

What does it not do yet?

Insurance verification, claim submission and phone answering. Those stay with your current setup, so there is no vendor lock-in.

Who is behind this?

Dr. Salem Sayegh, a general dentist, and Mark Sayegh, who ran the office of their family’s practice. Together they cut the practice’s insurance AR by about 90% in a year and built Amalgamate to do the same for other offices.
